Finding a Piano Teacher
How do you find a good piano teacher? There are a few things to keep in mind. Number one is personality. You want a teacher that you are comfortable with and/or has a good rapport with your kids. Go with you gut. Be present at the first lesson or two and see if you want to continue. The other main concern is your goals. Are you wanting to learn casually or become a concert pianist? This will affect your teacher choice. I would recommend a teacher with at least a few years under their belt. If you live in the Seattle area, I may have an opening or I could refer you to a teacher.
